About the artist
"Teacher should bring up a student to have somebody to learn from". This quotation of the philosopher fully refers to Rishard May. Having started to teach in the children's studio, opening a miraculous world of children's creativeness, Rishard changed his life and his art. His name is directly connected with the art studio where he has been teaching for the past 22 years. In works of his students and his own there is something that unites them all- frankness, unusual harmony and imagery.
Not every teacher is able to understand a child, usually people want to dominate their students. Rishard has his own concept, which, unfortunately has not become the common method- "teaching without learning", where free creative upbringing, believe in individuality and talent of every child allows his students to create masterpieces. All awards for exhibitions and auctions the studio gets in Paris, Tokyo, Holland, the USA. The works of his students can be found in many international catalogs of children's art but his name is never mentioned there.
